A motorcyclist and his passenger narrowly escaped drowning on Sunday during a heavy downpour that caused severe flooding at Kasoa Liberia Camp.
Eyewitnesses say the two attempted to ride through fast-moving floodwaters but were swept off the motorbike by the strong currents. Bystanders quickly intervened, rescuing them before the situation worsened.
The incident highlights growing concerns over poor drainage and rising flood risks in the area, with residents urging authorities to take urgent action to prevent future tragedies.
