Asante Kotoko Clinch 10th FA Cup Title, Cementing Place Among Ghana’s Greatest Clubs
Asante Kotoko have won their 10th FA Cup title in the 2024/25 season, making them the second most successful club after Hearts of Oak, who have 12 titles. The GFA ranks top clubs from 1958–2025, with Real Republicans, Great Olympics, and Medeama SC also among the top performers.

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has etched its name deeper into Ghanaian football history after securing their 10th MTN FA Cup title in the 2024/25 season. This latest triumph solidifies their position as the second most successful club in the competition's history, behind arch-rivals Accra Hearts of Oak, who top the all-time list with 12 titles.
The Ghana Football Association's latest ranking of top-performing FA Cup clubs from 1958 to 2025 highlights the dominance of traditional giants, while also recognizing remarkable one-time winners like Medeama SC, Nania FC, and Dreams FC.
According to the GFA, the all-time top five clubs are:
1. Accra Hearts of Oak SC – 12 titles, last won in 2022
2. Asante Kotoko SC – 10 titles, most recent in 2025
3. Real Republicans – 4 titles, last won in 1965
4. Great Olympics & Medeama SC – 3 and 2 titles respectively
Other notable past winners include Ashanti Gold, Ebusua Dwarfs, and Okwawu United, each with a title to their name showcasing the depth and diversity of Ghanaian football talent over the decades.
With this latest victory, the Porcupine Warriors reaffirm their status as a dominant force in Ghana football, setting the stage for what promises to be another thrilling chapter in the Hearts-Kotoko rivalry.
