ADB Promotes Joseph Mensah Abakah to Major Market Account Executive for Central Zone

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has announced the promotion of Joseph Mensah Abakah to the position of Major Market Account Executive for the Central Zone. In his new role, Abakah will oversee retail banking operations across the region while continuing to manage Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) banking portfolios.

Abakah’s elevation reflects his consistent dedication, professional excellence, and contribution to ADB’s mission of promoting agribusiness and SME growth in Ghana. His leadership in MSME banking has been pivotal in expanding financial inclusion and supporting small business development across the bank’s operational areas.

Before joining ADB, Abakah began his career as a professional teacher and later served as Municipal Director for the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), where he championed youth empowerment initiatives.

He holds a Post-Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree) in Psychological Foundations of Education from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) at the same institution.
