Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah Hails Gender Unity at Potsin T.I Ahmadiyya Debate
Potsin T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High held an SRC Week debate on “What men can do, women can do better.” Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah presented an award and urged respect, unity, and equal value for both genders to build a better society.

As part of activities marking the SRC Week celebration at Potsin T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School, students engaged in a thought-provoking inter-gender debate on the motion “What men can do, women can do better.” The event, which drew an enthusiastic audience of students, staff, and invited guests, sought to promote dialogue on gender roles and equality.
At the climax of the debate, Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah presented an award to the winning team. In his address, Dr. Appoh Mensah emphasized the vital importance of both men and women in building a progressive society. He noted that each gender brings unique strengths, perspectives, and contributions that enrich communities and workplaces.
“Women play crucial roles in nurturing, leadership, innovation, and social progress, often championing causes that promote equality and justice. Their insights and experiences are vital in driving change and fostering inclusive environments,” he said.
Dr. Appoh Mensah also highlighted the significant contributions of men across various fields, including science, technology, and the arts. He encouraged both genders to work together in advocating for equality, stressing that collaboration and mutual respect are key to achieving a harmonious society.
The event was described by participants as inspiring, with many praising the school’s SRC for creating a platform that promotes gender dialogue and unity.
