Helios Towers CEO Pays Courtesy Call on NCA Boss Ahead of 15th Anniversary
Helios Towers CEO Tom Greenwood visited NCA Director General Rev. Ing. Yirenkyi Fianko to announce the company’s 15th anniversary and thank the NCA for its support.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Helios Towers, Mr. Tom Greenwood, has paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, as part of activities marking the company’s upcoming 15th anniversary.
The meeting served as an opportunity for Mr. Greenwood to officially inform the NCA of the company’s milestone celebration and to express appreciation for the strong partnership between Helios Towers and the regulatory body over the years.
Mr. Greenwood highlighted that Ghana was the first country in which Helios Towers began operations, making the 15th anniversary particularly significant. He commended the NCA for its continued support and regulatory guidance, which has enabled Helios Towers to grow and expand its infrastructure footprint across Africa.
“Ghana holds a special place in the history of Helios Towers, and we are proud of the progress made here,” Mr. Greenwood said. “We remain committed to delivering reliable telecom infrastructure that supports digital transformation and connectivity across the country and the continent.”
Rev. Ing. Yirenkyi Fianko congratulated Helios Towers on reaching the milestone and lauded the company’s contributions to the development of Ghana’s digital ecosystem. He reaffirmed the NCA’s readiness to continue working with infrastructure providers like Helios Towers to enhance connectivity, promote innovation, and ensure quality service delivery.
