Gomoa East DCE Vows Swift Action to Resolve District’s Water Crisis

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Gomoa East has pledged to tackle the ongoing water crisis affecting communities within the district. In a statement, the DCE assured residents that her office, in collaboration with assembly members, is working tirelessly to bring lasting relief to households grappling with limited access to potable water.
“We are fully committed to addressing the ongoing water crisis in our district. Together with my esteemed assembly members, we are putting measures in place to ensure that water is accessible to all our communities. Together, we will overcome this challenge,” the DCE stated.
The assurance comes at a time when many residents have voiced concerns over the impact of the water shortage on livelihoods, education, and health. The DCE emphasized that the Gomoa East District Assembly is exploring both short-term interventions and long-term sustainable solutions to guarantee equitable water distribution.
She further appealed to residents to remain patient and supportive as the Assembly works closely with stakeholders to provide urgent relief.
The pledge has been welcomed by community leaders, who say they are hopeful that concrete steps will soon be rolled out to ease the burden on households.
