Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah Donates Treated Mosquito Nets to Flood-Affected Residents in Gomoa East

In a gesture of compassion and community support, Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah,  CEO of Hope for Africa and a former parliamentary candidate aspirant for the NDC in Gomoa East has donated treated mosquito nets to residents of Upper Nyanyano who were affected by the recent heavy rains and flooding in the Gomoa East Constituency.

The donation was made this afternoon to the local Assembly Member for onward distribution to vulnerable households in the area. According to Dr. Appoh Mensah, the initiative is part of his ongoing commitment to improving public health and safeguarding the well-being of his constituents.

"This is more than just a donation. It reflects my deep concern for the health and safety of my people, especially in times of crisis," he stated during the presentation.

Heavy rains in recent weeks have left several communities in Gomoa East battling water-logged homes and increased risk of mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria. The distribution of treated nets is expected to provide crucial protection for residents, especially children, pregnant women, and the elderly.

The Assembly Member expressed gratitude for the support and called for more collaborative efforts to assist the affected communities.

Dr. Appoh Mensah also used the occasion to urge residents to remain vigilant about sanitation and health precautions during the rainy season, and reaffirmed his readiness to support additional relief and development efforts in the constituency.
