Two Arrested Over Alleged Arson Attack on Afigya Kwabre South MCE’s Residence
Two suspects have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service over an alleged arson attack on the residence of Afigya Kwabre South MCE, Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah. The attack is linked to youth agitations over the non-appointment of their preferred candidate.

The Ghana Police Service has arrested two suspects in connection with an alleged arson attack on the official residence of the Afigya Kwabre South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Patricia Pearl Ankrah.
The incident is believed to have been triggered by tensions among some youth groups who are reportedly unhappy over the non-appointment of their preferred candidate to the MCE position.
Police say investigations are ongoing to bring all those involved to justice. The authorities have also assured the public of their commitment to maintaining law and order in the area.
