Takoradi Flooded After Heavy Downpour Submerges Key Areas
Heavy rains yesterday caused flooding in Takoradi, submerging areas including Nagel Memorial Adventist Hospital.

Torrential rainfall on Sunday led to severe flooding in several parts of Takoradi, with the Nagel Memorial Adventist Hospital among the hardest-hit areas.
The hospital was completely submerged, disrupting healthcare services and raising concerns about the safety of patients and staff. Videos and images shared on social media by eyewitnesses, showed floodwaters overwhelming the hospital premises and surrounding neighborhoods.
Residents are calling on authorities to improve drainage infrastructure to prevent future occurrences. No casualties have been reported yet, but assessments are ongoing.
