The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of a suspect, Christopher Partey, for unlawful possession of suspected narcotic drugs.
He was apprehended on June 11, 2025, by the National Highway Patrol Unit while traveling aboard a Ford Transit bus with registration number AS 524-16 at Ayikuma.
During a routine search, officers discovered 40 parcels of a substance believed to be narcotics. The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
