The First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Lordina Mahama, through the Lordina Foundation, has organized the third quarterly health screening for over 145 retired Assemblies of God ministers and their spouses in Accra.
The event, held at the Ringway Gospel Centre, offered free medical consultations, laboratory tests, medications, and specialist healthcare services, all aimed at improving the well-being of retired clergy and their families.
Mrs. Mahama, a dedicated member of the Assemblies of God Church, reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the health needs of retirees. She also urged participants to register for the upcoming Ghana Medical Trust Fund, popularly known as Mahama Cares, which seeks to support the treatment of chronic illnesses not fully covered by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
The initiative received widespread appreciation from beneficiaries, who praised the First Lady for her continued compassion and leadership.
