Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah Applauds NADMO’s Hassan Hamidu for Exceptional Leadership in Gomoa East

Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah, a respected political figure and advocate for grassroots development, has showered praise on Mr. Hassan Hamidu, the Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in Gomoa East, for what he described as "visionary and proactive leadership" in disaster preparedness and community resilience efforts.

In a statement , Dr. Appoh Mensah commended Mr. Hamidu for initiating timely interventions and community-centered strategies that have significantly enhanced the district’s capacity to respond to emergencies.

Under Mr. Hamidu’s leadership, NADMO Gomoa East has rolled out several impactful initiatives, including early warning systems, public sensitization campaigns on flood risks, and collaborative emergency drills with local volunteers. His team’s swift response to recent flash floods in parts of the district has earned him widespread recognition.

Dr. Appoh Mensah highlighted the importance of supporting such leaders who are making tangible differences at the community level. “People like Hassan Hamidu restore public confidence in our institutions. He’s setting a new standard for disaster management, and I urge both government and civil society to empower NADMO offices across the country with the tools and resources to follow his lead.”
