Otumfuo Osei Tutu II visited President Mahama at his private residence in Accra to extend goodwill and bid farewell after attending Mahama’s son’s graduation as guest of honour on June 21, 2025.

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama at his private residence in Accra. The visit, which took place on Monday, June 23, 2025, was to extend goodwill and bid the President farewell.
Otumfuo’s visit followed his role as guest of honour at the graduation ceremony of President Mahama’s son on Saturday, June 21. The Asantehene was accompanied by his entourage of esteemed traditional leaders (Nananom) as they shared warm exchanges with the President.
The meeting highlighted the mutual respect between the traditional authority and the presidency.
