Deputy Majority Leader Kweku Ricketts-Hagan has announced that the Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, will present the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Speaking during the Business Statement in Parliament on Friday, July 11, Ricketts-Hagan said the review will offer important updates on the progress of the 2025 Budget implementation, providing insights into Ghana’s economic and fiscal performance over the first half of the year.
“The mid-year again will happen on the 24th of July,” he said on the floor of Parliament.
The Mid-Year Budget Review is a critical process that allows government and lawmakers to assess revenue collection, expenditure, and economic challenges faced in the first six months, and to make necessary adjustments for the remainder of the fiscal year.
Ghana’s stakeholders and citizens alike will be keenly following the presentation for indications on how the government plans to steer the economy amidst ongoing global and domestic challenges.
