The Coordinator in Charge of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at the Agricultural Development Bank Ghana (ADB), Mr. Joseph Mensah Abakah,  lead the Bank’s delegation at the ongoing Central Expo 2025 in Cape Coast.

The annual event, which brings together entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors, is serving as a platform to highlight the pivotal role of MSMEs in driving economic growth and job creation in Ghana. ADB’s participation underscores its commitment to supporting the growth and sustainability of small businesses, particularly in the agriculture value chain.

Speaking at the exhibition grounds, Mr. Abakah reaffirmed the Bank’s resolve to provide tailor-made financial products and capacity-building initiatives to help MSMEs scale up their operations. He emphasized that MSMEs remain the backbone of Ghana’s economy, contributing significantly to innovation, local employment, and poverty reduction.

“As a Bank that goes Beyond Banking, ADB is dedicated to empowering MSMEs with not just financing, but also technical support, mentorship, and access to markets. We believe that strengthening the MSME sector is central to achieving inclusive and sustainable development,” Mr. Abakah noted.

ADB is showcasing a range of its MSME-focused products and services at the Expo, while also engaging entrepreneurs to better understand their challenges and opportunities for growth.

Organizers of the Central Expo 2025 have commended ADB for its consistent support to the MSME sector and for playing a lead role in advancing Ghana’s economic transformation agenda through innovative banking solutions.
