Interior Minister Inaugurates Gaming Commission Board to Boost Industry Reforms
Interior Minister Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak has inaugurated an 11-member board for the Gaming Commission to promote responsible gaming, tackle illegal operations, and drive regulatory reforms.

The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has inaugurated an 11-member Governing Board of the Gaming Commission of Ghana, charging them with the responsibility of driving regulatory reforms and ensuring the growth of the gaming industry.
Speaking at the inauguration in Accra, the Minister emphasized the need for the Commission to uphold international best practices, enforce strict measures against underage gambling and illegal operators, and promote responsible gaming across the country.
The Board has also been tasked with strengthening staff capacity and ensuring that the Commission contributes meaningfully to Ghana’s economic development.
