Chief Mike Derry Engages Youth Development Minister at National Youth Conference

Chief Mike Derry, Central Regional Political Coordinator at the Office of the President, has met with the Minister for Youth Development at the ongoing National Youth Conference being held at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Gomoa Fetteh.
The conference, themed “Igniting Potential; Inspiring Change and Empowerment”, has brought together key national figures, including Hon. Julius Debrah, former Chief of Staff, and Hon. George Opare-Addo, Chief Executive of the National Youth Authority (NYA).
Chief Mike Derry underscored the importance of government collaboration with the youth, emphasising that empowering young people remains central to Ghana’s socio-economic progress.
The Minister for Youth Development, on his part, assured the gathering of the government’s continued commitment to creating sustainable opportunities for the youth through education, skills training, and entrepreneurship support.
The two leaders expressed optimism that platforms such as the National Youth Conference will inspire young Ghanaians to contribute meaningfully to national development.
