Yvonne Gyekye, a proud representative of the Gomoa Pomadze Local, has brought honor to the Gomoa East District after securing 3rd place at the Central Regional Miss GNATLAS competition.

Yvonne first made waves by winning the district-level pageant, earning her the right to represent Gomoa East at the regional stage. Competing against 14 contestants from various districts in the Central region, her remarkable performance and poise earned her a top-three finish.

The Miss GNATLAS pageant celebrates the beauty, intelligence, eloquence, and leadership qualities of young female teachers within the Ghana National Association of Teachers Ladies Society (GNATLAS), aiming to inspire confidence and community service among participants.

Yvonne’s achievement has been hailed as a significant milestone for the Gomoa East District, bringing pride to her local community and motivating other young women to pursue excellence in leadership and personal development.

Speaking after the event, Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah, a notable figure from the district, commended Yvonne’s achievement:
