The Minority in Parliament has raised alarm over the reported dismissal of about 100 staff of the Bank of Ghana, claiming the move violates Ghana’s labour laws.
According to the Minority, the workers were let go without clear justification, sparking concerns about due process and fairness. The group is now calling for the immediate reinstatement of the affected employees and demanding that the central bank provide accountability for its actions.
“This is a clear breach of Ghana’s labour laws, and we will not allow it to go unchallenged,” a Minority spokesperson said.
The development has ignited public debate on workers’ rights and governance within key state institutions.
