Kumawood Actor Kwame Borga Involved in Accident En Route to Ashanti Regional Minister Meeting
Kumawood actor Kwame Borga was involved in a minor accident near Bekwai Roundabout in Kumasi while heading to meet the Ashanti Regional Minister. He sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment.

Popular Kumawood actor Kwame Borga was reportedly involved in a road accident in Kumasi on Monday, June 16, 2025, while on his way to meet the Ashanti Regional Minister.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred near the Bekwai Roundabout when the vehicle in which the actor was traveling collided with a commercial mini-bus during a heavy downpour. Fortunately, no fatalities were recorded, but Borga sustained minor injuries and was rushed to a nearby clinic for treatment.
The purpose of Borga’s meeting with the Regional Minister remains unclear, but sources suggest it was related to an upcoming regional arts and culture initiative.
Fans and colleagues have since taken to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.
