Iran has launched a large-scale missile assault on Tel Aviv this evening, dramatically escalating tensions in the Middle East. The attack comes hours after Israeli air raids struck Iranian nuclear and military facilities.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that over 100 missiles were launched, with targets spanning central and southern Israel. Although the Iron Dome intercepted many of the incoming missiles, several managed to breach the defenses, hitting parts of Tel Aviv and sparking widespread panic among residents.
Emergency services have reported at least 22 injuries, including two individuals in critical condition. Damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure has also been recorded.
The Israeli government is reportedly holding emergency security meetings as international concern grows over the potential for broader conflict in the region.
