Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah Joins Gomoa East Leaders for National Sanitation Day Clean-Up Exercise
Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah on Saturday joined the leadership and residents of Gomoa East District in a significant clean-up exercise held in observance of the National Day of Sanitation.

Dr. Emmanuel Appoh Mensah, on Saturday, joined the leadership and residents of Gomoa East District in a significant clean-up exercise held in observance of the National Day of Sanitation.
The event, which took place in Gomoa Fetteh, brought together prominent figures, including the District Chief Executive, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa East, Nana Abor Atta II, the Supreme Chief of Gomoa Fetteh, his traditional cabinet, and a large number of enthusiastic community members.
Dr. Appoh Mensah described the exercise as a vital step toward realising the President’s vision of a clean and healthy Ghana. “We demonstrated what is possible when leadership and community unite for a common cause,” he stated. “This collective effort not only enhanced the cleanliness of our environment but also deepened our shared responsibility for maintaining it.”
The exercise was marked by a strong sense of unity and dedication, as participants cleared public spaces and engaged in activities aimed at promoting hygiene and environmental consciousness.
Dr. Mensah emphasised that the initiative symbolises the unity, pride, and collective spirit of Gomoa East. “By working hand in hand, we are setting a powerful example for future generations, showing that real change begins with each of us,” he added.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants and supporters of the cause, commending their commitment and determination to help build a healthier, cleaner Ghana.
