Central Regional Minister Receives Relief Items from NADMO to Support Flood Victims
Central Regional Minister Hon. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah has received relief items from the RCC to support flood victims in the region. The items were presented by NADMO and included mattresses, clothing, and consumables. The Minister thanked the RCC and appealed for more support, reaffirming efforts to address the recurring flooding challenges.

The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, on Friday, June 27, 2025, received a significant consignment of relief items from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) to support residents affected by recent torrential rains and flooding in the region.
The donation, valued at thousands of cedis, included mattresses, clothing, and essential consumables aimed at alleviating the plight of displaced families.
The brief handover ceremony, held in Cape Coast, was attended by the Central Regional Director of NADMO, Mr. Emmanuel Kwesi Ayensu Dawood, and his team.
In his remarks, Hon. Eduamoah expressed deep appreciation to the RCC for the timely gesture and appealed to philanthropic individuals, corporate institutions, and international organizations to assist the region in this difficult time.
“This year, the Central Region is among the most severely affected by flooding. Just as Oliver Twist would say, ‘we ask for more,’” he noted.
The Minister reaffirmed the RCC’s unwavering commitment to supporting disaster victims and collaborating with stakeholders to develop long-term solutions to the perennial flooding challenges in the region.
