General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of eight individuals, including government officials and security personnel.
In a heartfelt message, Kwetey described the incident as “hard to believe” and “too painful” to comprehend.
“This is hard to believe! Difficult to come to terms with! Too painful. Truly, words fail me. Rest well, comrades. Rest well, gallant Officers!” he wrote.
The crash, which occurred in the mountainous Dampayaw area, has plunged the nation into mourning, with tributes pouring in from across the political spectrum.
