Bawumia Mourns Ministers and Victims of Fatal Helicopter Crash

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of two government ministers and six others earlier today.

In a heartfelt message, Dr. Bawumia revealed that he had already extended his condolences to President John Dramani Mahama and the bereaved families, describing the incident as “heart-wrenching” and a blow to the entire nation.

“The fallen men paid the ultimate price in the service of our motherland, leaving a shocked nation in pain,” he stated, adding that he personally knew most of the deceased and felt a deep personal loss.

Dr. Bawumia, speaking on behalf of his wife Samira, the Bawumia family, and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), joined the rest of the country in mourning the departed souls.

“May the good Lord grant the bereaved families, the Government, and the people of Ghana strength and healing in this time of tragedy,” he prayed.

The helicopter crash, which occurred earlier today, has plunged the nation into mourning as investigations continue into the cause of the fatal incident.
