Teshie Obediben Mantse Warns Against Violence Ahead of Homowo Festival
Teshie Obediben Mantse, Nii Martey Dzata Obrempong, has warned that anyone found with weapons during the Homowo festival will be arrested. He vowed to ensure peace and urged youth to avoid trouble.

Nii Martey Dzata Obrempong, the Teshie Obediben Mantse and Acting Atofotse, has issued a strong warning ahead of the upcoming Teshie Homowo festival, cautioning that anyone caught with weapons will be arrested by security forces.
Speaking to the media, he expressed deep concern over the recent unruly behavior of some youth in the community, which he said threatens the peace and sanctity of the festival.
"We will not tolerate any form of violence. Anyone who brings weapons or tries to disrupt the celebration will be dealt with by the security agencies," he declared.
Nii Martey Dzata emphasized his commitment to ensuring a peaceful and orderly Homowo, calling on all residents and visitors to respect traditional authority and cooperate with security personnel.
