Nigerian Hospital Worker Jailed in UK for Sexually Assaulting Vulnerable Patient
Adewale Kudabo, a Nigerian health worker in the UK, was jailed for sexually assaulting a bedridden patient at York Hospital, just nine months after arriving in the country.

Adewale Kudabo, a 47-year-old Nigerian health worker, has been jailed in the UK for sexually assaulting an immobile patient at York Hospital just nine months after arriving in the country.
York Crown Court heard that Kudabo, a married man, kissed the woman against her will on two separate occasions while she was bedridden and in severe pain. The first incident occurred after he gave her a bed bath, and the second followed days later despite her refusal of care.
Kudabo pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault and was sentenced on June 10, 2025.
