Hon. Bryan Acheampong has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the party’s next presidential primaries.
Speaking at a press briefing, Acheampong revealed that his decision was guided by findings from his exploratory team. According to him, the team’s report highlighted the urgent need for a fresh leader who can reshape the party’s image and boost its appeal among Ghanaians.
Acheampong promised a bold new vision for the NPP, aimed at revitalizing the party’s fortunes and reconnecting with the grassroots as it prepares for future electoral battles.
His declaration sets the stage for what is expected to be a highly competitive race for the party’s leadership.
