Western Region Organiser for the New Patriotic Party, Mohammed Abdul Ganiyu says it would be deceptive for anyone to believe that the revised list of parliamentary aspirants for the party in the region would change.
Following the publication of a revised list by the Regional Vetting Committee, some party delegates have been thrown into a state of misbelieve, anticipating a review of the list before the National Executive Committee approves of it for the election.
But Mr. Ganiyu told a caller on the show who disputed the decision that “you deceiving yourself, if you say you won’t accept the outcome because you are not the person organising the election”.
He disclosed in an interview with Host of the Jolly Breakfast Show on Skyy Power 93.5 fm this morning that the Vetting Appeals Committee has already taken a determination on all petitions submitted by disgruntled parties/persons prior to and after the vetting exercise.
Mr. Ganiyu added that the final list from which the regional executive prepared their ballot for the April 25 election, was based on a decision of the committee.
Aspirants in the following constituencies will go unopposed; Essikado-Ketan, Sekondi, Tarkwa Nsuaem, Jomoro, and Evalue/Gwira/Ajomoro.
