Aggrieved customers of Gold Coast Securities in the early hours of Wednesday August 14 2019 took to the streets of Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region calling for the dead of Papa Kwesi Nduom, CEO of Gold Coast Fund Management.
They pleaded with His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to intervene and order Gold Coast Securities to release their locked up investment to them.
Addressing pressmen after presenting their petition to the Deputy Western Regional Minister, Gifty Eugene Kusi, the chairman for the aggrieved customers Mr Goodwill Ortsin alleged that, Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has use given their monies to open different companies meanwhile assurances to pay them off their investment by the first week of March 2019 has all failed.
“We have given our 2week a ultimatum to the CEO of Gold coast security funds Management and the president to return our monies or we shall go to Accra to demonstrate until our monies paid to us”
The customers also disclosed that, their homes are broken and their children are gradually becoming school drop dropouts, pensions and windows are dying each day due to their locked up investment. They lamented.
The deputy Western Regional Minister, Gifty Eugenia Kusi after taking their petition on behalf of the Regional Minister and the President assured the demonstrators to the President Nana Addo she know will work on their petition fast as expected for them to recoup their investment.
Hearing their plight, the deputy minister and a deaconess in the church of Pentecost offered a prayer to the disgruntled customers of Gold Coast Securities and encourage them to be strong for their afflictions.
