C/R:GOVERNMENT URGED TO REGULATE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHURCHES

“The devil comes to steal and to destroy therefore as children of God we must be watchful and praying in order not to fall into temptation.”

From this, the Church of God has held a massive twenty one days of prayers at Mankessim in the Mfantseman municipality of the central region.

The program which is opened to all children of God in Mankessim and its environs is to engage in prayers for the period of twenty one days in the evenings.

Speaking at the program, the servant of the Church of God, Apostle Benjamin Anaaman uttered, from Genesis to Revelation the most mentioned world in the Bible is the true church of God.

He revealed that, Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 “upon this rock I build my church”, therefore the only church is the church of God which was founded by Jesus Christ adding no pastor is a founder of any church as people claim.

According to him, they are only servants of Christianity “the true church is a non-denominational and its leaders are caretakers and servants”, he stated.

Apostle Benjamin Anaaman cautioned that, the end times are nigh and for that matter people should surrender themselves to God advising people to desist from narcotic drugs and bad habits.

Apostle Benjamin Anaaman however urged government to regulate the activities of the churches in the country.

On his part, Pastor CK Mensah bemoaned on how some pastors enjoy and their followers wallow in poverty.

He said, a section of pastors educate their children in best schools, ride in luxury cars and live in mansions, “true church is love of all.”

Pastor Michael Okaine also added his voice and said, God uses his servant to give information to his people pleading people should listen to them.
